There’s something so beautiful about Penelope, Someone with such desperation for love. Seeing her make peace with the idea of a loveless life, understanding how much love you have to give and how little you have to receive. Making peace with the idea that something was raised in you and you’re harvesting the results that have settled into your bones in the form of devastating loneliness. And I guess all that for you to be swept off your feet by the only person you would give everything. Someone who feels relieved to love, like letting go a big breath that he didn’t know he was holding.
Again there’s this beautiful contrast with the desperation Penelope has trying so hard to love but that falling in sight of blind eyes and the relief Colin feels to finally love and to finally see
